Katherine Kovacic originally worked as a veterinarian before returning to study to earn an MA, followed by a PhD in Art History. She has an interest in the history of human relationships with animals, particularly as they appear in art. She lives in Melbourne with a Borzoi and a Scottish Deerhound.
