Born in Yorkshire, UK, Jill now lives in Australia with her musician husband and bossy cat, Fergus. After doing an Arts degree at the Australian National University, she worked at the Australian National University's School of Law before spending the next 10 years with the Business Council of Australia and the University of New South Wales, ADFA Campus in the School of Electrical Engineering.
