Bronwyn Rivers grew up in Newcastle, Australia. She moved to the UK to take a doctorate at the University of Oxford on nineteenth-century women’s novels, and was an academic researcher and book reviewer in England and Australia. Bronwyn now lives in Sydney with her husband and two children.
