Publisher's Synopsis

Kara Wright and Tien Tran are veterans of an elite sub-unit of the Special Reconnaissance Regiment. Both served in various warzones and both were lucky to make it home.

Now, based in a run-down office in Kentish Town they try to keep their heads above water as private investigators. When a local celebrity DJ goes missing, presumed dead, the enigmatic Franklyn tasks Kara and Tien to investigate. Within days the women are embarked on a pursuit that leads halfway around the globe and into the darkest recesses of the human condition. Kara, Tien and their team will endure mental stress worse than anything they experienced from combat and, like combat, not everyone will make it home.

What a ride! When Kara Wright and Tien Tran, partners in their new Private Investigation business, and ex veterans of an elite intelligence unit, were tasked with discovering if the man whose suicide note was found, the money missing, and the only witness positive he’d vanished over the side of his troller, they had no idea what it would lead them into. As they began the journey of following the limited clues they had, they first arrived in Amsterdam. It was immediately apparent they had much further to go, many more people to follow and incredible danger to face. Read All Reviews

Dark, dark subject matter in a tension filled narrative.

Did I mention the word tension here?

I did not want to read what I knew was coming next. Read All Reviews
